Cruelty

This is the brief for Final Major Project, which is where we were set the task of assigning our own brief on something that we wanted to focus on after doing research and development and finding our own concept. the concept behind my work was life, mortality and morality which then evolved in to an awareness campaign for cruelty done in an abstract manner, the images below are of the development and making of the installation piece and the logo, poster and flyer, this is something I was very passionate about and look forward to any replies.

Arachnophobia

This brief was to design a book for a topic of our choice, I chose Arachnophobia because its something I am familiar with but also something that I knew would give me good qualities for me to bring into my work. I think there has been a definite improvement since the student handbook and I hope you agree, I look forward to any comments.

Douwe Egberts Coffee

This brief was set with the intention of finding a new way to advertise and package the Douwe Egberts coffee in a way that would make people want to drink it at home and that could bring in a younger audience. The inspiration for mine came from their past product names and how they described the product, the packaging and container for the coffee I designed in Cinema 4d, please feel free to comment on what you think of any aspect.

Penguin

This brief was set for us as students to find away to uniquely design a new book cover for the penguin book "The Big Sleep" by Raymond Chandler and try and make it something interesting that hadn't been done before.
the inspiration behind mine is in reference to key point in the book, when he see's the knight in the glass window the knight inspired the font and the whole cover is made to look like it is made out of stained glass window. The images also come from key point in the book as well and pieces that are referenced and easy to recognise, I look forward to any and all feedback.

I look forward to hearing any and all reviews or comments and hope you enjoy this blog.

CCAD HE STUDENT HANDBOOK PHOTO'S

CCAD HE STUDENT HANDBOOK

The following images are the final designs for a brief which I have just finished.
The object of the Brief was to re-design the CCAD HE STUDENT HANDBOOK.
Overall I am happy with the final outcome, however know that I am looking back on the project I am seeing things which I would do differently given the chance.

This is the first time this work will be seen by anyone other than me the designer and tutor, therefore any and all comments from compliments to insults are more than welcome!
Any comments are good comments that will help me in future design choices.
Thank you.
